How to Share Files to Mainland China Users?

1. You can use Share with China feature designed for the Chinese market. The feature generates a link with password. you can use it per Pic 1 in the center next to Generate. You can see this window on any folder and files by clicking the orange share icon
2. Aside Purely public shares without passwords do not work in China without a VPN. Is not allowed by the Government.
3. The recommended way to share confidentially with China is the multiuser accounts as they are what the platform is designed for in the first place. That way you can leverage the internal links and all of their features. This is also a great feature for two ways sharing.
4. To share with China using the free plan, you need to generate password-protected links, as public links are not accessible in China. The downside of this plan is that links expire after 3 days. You can upgrade to a multi-user plan at any time and enjoy unlimited sharing features.

Every new download link still starts with the domain name app.nihaocloud.com meaning it is accessible everywhere in the world except Mainland China, for now. Therefore, public download links in China WILL NOT work without a VPN. To share with China, you will need internal links or password protected links.

Using Syncing Clients in China
